Yesterday’s run was amazing (but very challenging)!!!! I’m used to running paved roads, sidewalks and gravel. I knew going into this that it was a trail run, but I wanted to push myself! The first mile was fairly easy, just one loop around old Tucson studios. The second and third mile were the toughest for me, it was a desert loop trail with curvy, hilly paths, only wide enough for one person (all others trying to pass the slower runners had to wait until the path opened up so they could go around). The last mile was a lot easier (on more loop around old Tucson studios to the finish line)! I really wish I could have taken some pictures, to show you all how awesome it looked running through an old western town! Since I’m finally starting to run further, I need to buy a water bottle holder. Not sure which one to get: The water bottle that just clips around your waste or the hydration camel pack. Any suggestions? Currently bored at work, looking up other races I can do before or after my 20k at the end of March (which I’m totally stoked for).
